UC Davis teammates Brianna Weidler and Dani Barrett placed second and third, respectively, in the women's 6-kilometer race at the Big West Conference Cross Country Championships at Blacklake Golf Resort in Nipomo, Calif. Weidler, last year's champion, clocked 20:09.8 and Barrett improved from 22nd place last season by running 20:29.9, as the Aggies swept the top three spots, along with winner Sierra Atkins prevailing in 19:52.5. UC Davis secured second overall as a team by a 39-58 margin behind host Cal Poly.
